4 functions in one device

The DATCON DT1122 dual output galvanic isolator implements four functions in one device:

  • signal distribution (splitter function): transmits one input signal to two outputs
  • 4-way galvanic isolation
  • signal conversion: 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA / 0-10 V / 2-10 V (in any combination)
  • 20 V transmitter power supply at the input

The device can be used in systems where two parallel signal processors operate (redundant signal processing systems), or in addition to signal processing, local display of the transmitter signal is also required.
The galvanic isolation is four-way, i.e. the input, outputs and power supply are galvanically independent of each other.
The input and output signal ranges can be selected – in any combination – using the front panel switches.

Main features:

  • signal splitting: transmission of one input signal to two independent outputs
  • switch-selectable signal ranges on the input and outputs: 0–20 mA / 4–20 mA / 0–10 V / 2–10 V (in any combination)
  • four-way isolation
  • 20 V transmitter power supply on the input
  • nonlinearity: <0.02% typ.
  • temperature dependence: 25 ppm / °C typ.
  • 24 VDC ±10% or 230 V AC/DC ±10% supply voltage range
  • 12.5 mm wide, DIN rail mouning design
